Hari Jyot College of Optometry is the premier educational institutes of the Gujarat State. The college was established in September 2005 and has successfully completed Seven years (six semester + one year internship). It covers two programs: Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.) and Master of Optometry (M.Optom.). The college is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.
It is also affiliated to Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO). The college is self-financed institute and managed by Rotary Eye Institute, a 50-bed Eye Institute located in Navsari, Gujarat.

In humans, the eye is a valuable sense organ that gives us the ability to see. It allows for light perception and vision, including the ability to differentiate between colors and depth. Visual sense helps to make our life more meaningful in terms of Success, Emotions/Feelings, and Happiness. This visual perception makes our life a memorable and unforgettable experience.
